PhinLi Bookings, LLC was founded by Seraphin Hedges and Lisa Tusay to bring sex-positive, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex and allied (LGBTQIA) artists, activists, theorists, authors, speakers, musicians, performers, sex educators, dancers, filmmakers, comedians and more to academic venues, pride celebrations, queer conferences and ultimately into the mainstream.

Seraphin is an entertainment industry professional with over a decade of experience. Prior to PhinLi she was with MTV Networks where she held a position in the Music & Celebrity Talent division. She has worked in talent, promotion, production and programming with several networks and studios including MTV, LOGO, MTVU, MTV2, MTV Hits, MTV Jams, MTV.com, Nickelodeon, Vh1, Late Show With David Letterman, CBS, The Grammys, DreamWorks, Columbia Pictures, IFC, New Line Cinema and Focus Films.
Seraphin was born and raised in Louisville, KY where her days were split between performing arts, life on a farm and challenging the system. She launched her career in entertainment in New York City while graduating from Emerson College with a BA in Theatre Studies. Having spent many years in environments where she's largely been considered "other," Seraphin is thrilled at the opportunity to be part of a venture that strives to help further the reach of information leading to inclusion, acceptance and equality.

Even before she graduated with a BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, Lisa had an entrepreneurial spirit. Her one-person freelance web and graphic design business remained her staple even while she started her own pre-IPO media company in the dotcom boom of 1999, closed it in 2001, took night classes, served for two years on the board of directors for a NYC non-profit organization and worked full time as a relationship manager, production artist, graphic and multimedia designer and project leader for companies ranging from financial giant Merrill Lynch to an independent MinuteMan Press franchise, to a mid-sized international manufacturer, Raritan Computer, Inc., and so on.
When she heard of Seraphin's new business venture, Lisa decided to leave the over-saturated graphic design job market and "do something meaningful" for a living instead. She does occasional freelance design work but now her art is a passion, instead of a chore, and for this she is eternally grateful.
